Congratulations to Shah Khan from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on becoming the first Presidential Black Diamond Executive outside of the U.S. Here’s what he had to say on reaching this impressive milestone…

Driven by passion and a great sense of purpose to change people’s lives for the better.

“I have been in the direct selling business for 11 years and I have read more than 1,300 books about the industry. Before MonaVie, I was in three other companies and after one and half years of working, I realised that these were not the companies for me. I have now been with MonaVie for three years, and I must say that there’s nothing that comes close to it! The company, the management, the products, and the compensation plan put MonaVie in a class of its own.

“In MonaVie, I found that the company has a good compensation plan and a great business opportunity for others to advance in rank. I am especially inspired by what our Founder, Dallin A. Larsen, repeatedly says, ‘Always put God first, family second, and MonaVie third.’ And we live by values; we do not speak negatively about others and their products because ‘by blowing other people’s candles, it does not make our own candles glow brighter!’ I truly support the company’s culture of giving back to society—The MORE Project—and to people in need, regardless of colour and creed. It’s all about people helping people, and this is the cause that is dear to my heart.

I was ecstatic when I became the first Presidential Black Diamond Executive outside of the U.S. I thank my fantastic network of more than 120,000 members in Asia for their confidence, dedication, teamwork, and hard work. My philosophy in life is simple: ‘The beauty and joy in life does not depend on how happy you are, but how many people are happy because of you!’ It is the joy of seeing the change in others that makes me happy. I strongly believe the higher we advance in our ranks in this company, the more people will become successful, and that to me is the greatest joy—seeing others become successful!

“I have always impressed upon distributors—new and existing—that you must ask yourselves this question: Am I willing to pay the price? If yes, then you have to put all things that are of lesser importance aside. There is a price to pay for everything in life.

“I ask them again: Is religion important, prayers important, career, family time and exercise? If you want to succeed, you can still make the time. Those who make excuses can’t become rich and those who become rich don’t make excuses.

“I advocate the Seven Ps for Success: Persistence, Patience, Positive, Passionate, Personality, Pleasant, and Purpose. If we have a purpose in life, we will succeed in everything we do. Since I joined MonaVie three years ago, my volume and rank has not dropped and my business is growing at a tremendous speed. To date, my organisation is one of the fastest growing in MonaVie, and we provide business opportunities with training for our members. I am a strong proponent of the art of duplication.”

Despite the many successes he has achieved, Shah is very down-to-earth and is indeed a man with a big heart driven by his conviction to change other people’s lives for the better. The joy he receives from helping others far outweigh the amount of money he receives from his MonaVie business. He believes that when God gives us lots of money, He watches to see how we spend the money. Shah says, “God’s best gift to us is life, and our best gift to him is what we leave behind for the less fortunate and underprivileged ones. So I pray to God to give me a long life so that I can make lots of money and give it away. When we give to charities to help people, irrespective of religion, God will always be there to help and guide us.

“On 30 April 2011, a monk from Taiwan showed me a video of a home with 700 orphans. He needed help to build two homes in Thailand for them. I didn’t know who he was but when I watched the video, my heart went out to them and I gave them a gift of RM32,000 to build their homes. MonaVie soon started The MORE Project in Thailand and organised a very good set up for this project and I contributed RM100,000. Now these children have become self-reliant with their own machines to pack rice and they have in turn asked us to extend our help to other needy children.

“I love doing what I do and if every one of us in MonaVie does the same thing, we can bring about a big change in people’s lives and the whole world. We could possibly put an end to world hunger, too. To me, life is all about purpose. If you have a purpose, life becomes easy. Anyone with a strong purpose in life will succeed in everything they do.
